Today starts a major step forward in the channel’s expansion. One of the news items I can reveal today is that VOD has expanded on other systems. Whoa! 😀

So in addition to Comcast, Blue Ridge and Bresnan, we are now on:

  • Armstrong
  • Buckeye
  • Wave
  • Click
  • Service Electric Company
  • NuLink
  • ATMC
  • Insight
  • Mid-Continent

We’re still in discussions with other providers so this list will grow. Yay!

Starting in June the VOD menus on Comcast Free VOD will change. They will have the following –

On Demand –>The Cutting Edge–>Funimation Anime –>By Genre –>Drama/Comedy

On Demand –>The Cutting Edge–>Funimation Anime–>By Genre–>Action/Fantasy

If you are wondering, the Free VOD titles that air on Comcast are also available to the affiliates I listed above. Exception to this is Verizon FiOS TV. They have a separate schedule.

Here’s What’s New On Comcast VOD Today:

Transactional VOD (PPV VOD)

Free VOD

Looking ahead to next month – Bamboo Blade, Baccano, Claymore, Aquarion, Honey and Clover, Suzuka, Initial D Fourth Stage and My Bride is a Mermaid.

We recently started a  account for the channel. Follow us if you want to stay updated on all things related to the channel. You’ll need it for those upcoming major conventions. 😉

Stay tuned. We have BIG NEWS related to the linear service.

  1. if you could please can you list the schedule for VOD on Verizon Fios.

  2. Nice to see the FUNi on-demand service into others cable companies. ^^ About FIOS having a different on-demand schedule is understandable since FIOS have the 24/7 channel (though only people with extreme packet can get it as of now). ^^

  3. I hate Twitter get on Myspace!

  4. Hi, i live in davenport FL and i have comcast. But the VOD doesn’t hve half the updates you’ve listed. So how can i get the updates?

    • @cmoney121993 – I’ll need to ask Comcast to check what’s going on. Please provide the zip code where you receive digital cable service and I can send in the request. What is currently showing on your VOD menu under Funimation Anime?
